Dear all,

Anders Nilssen (1807) married Gunnilla Olsdoter (1794) on the 23 October 1827, both came from Stegared in Sibbarp parish.

When I look for the marriage record in the Sibbarp parish records the records for the year 1827 are missing from ArkivDigital. Is there any other way of finding the marriage record?

Dear all,

Please could someone help translate the Place of Birth and Remarks text for the entries:

Anders Nilson: ?
Gunnil Olsdotter: ?
Joanna Britta: Svartra

I believe I know the Places of Birth but I cannot find the corresponding Birth and Christening Records.

Also, does anyone else live with Anders Nilson, Gunnil Olsdotter and Joanna Britta?

Today is the first time I have seen these names so I will need to investigate. I am thinking that Sven Olsson could be a brother of Gunne Olsdotter?

Dear all,

Please see attached birth record. The entry is for:

Child: Johanna Britta born 12 April 1828
Father: Anders Nilson
Mother: Gunne Olsdotter (32 years)

Please can you help me transcribe the names and words in the final 'sponsor' column? I can make out Sven Olson and Oluf Hanson but I don't know who these people are. Any ideas?

Also, this appears to be the link on the Family Search website.

Dear all,

I am trying to research my Norse ancestry and have found a Swedish ancestor.

Johanne Britta Andersdatter was born November 12, 1828 in Varberg, Sweden. Johanne is stated as the mother of my great great grandfather Johan Adrian Petersen, born Febraury 5, 1856 in København, Denmark. Charles Emmanual Petersen is listed as the father of Johan Adrian Petersen on his 1898 English marriage certificate.

I would be very grateful for any help finding:

     1. The marriage, parents, grandparents, census links or any other information for Johanne Britta Andersdatter.
     2. Any information on Charles Emmanual Petersen, as currently I don't know if he is Swedish or Danish.
