Brith record John Albin Anderson 1880

I would like to locate the birth certificate of my husband's grandfather, John Albin Anderson. John Albin Anderson  was born September 20, 1880 in Uddevalla. His parents are listed as John/Andrew Anderson and Mary/Maria in various records in the United States. He immigrated to America in 1903/04, but I haven't been able to locate his passenger record.
 
Would like to know how to request copies of his birth certificate.

Sweden don't have birth certificates as the US. You would get a copy of the birth and baptism book, where all births are recorded. The original book for Uddevalla is available at the Regional Archives in Gothenburg (Göteborg).
