Emigranten CD lookup-Johan Peter Larson

Am looking for the emigration information re: Johan Peter Larson (Jan Petter Larsson) my great-grandfather. Born 13Feb.1844 in Karlstad. Moved to Stockholm. Son born S:t Johannes parish 1873. Emigrated from Stockholm about 1880 to settle in Crystal Falls, Michigan, where he died 15Dec.1904.Son did not follow until 1901.Was told wife died shortly after my grandfather was born.Remarried in USAabt.1892.

Hi Karen, there is a Johan P Larsson, age 37 who leaves Stockholm in 1880, on 20 August. The destination is New York, NY. He leaves from the harbour of Stockholm, on the same ticket/contract is a Alfred Björkman, age 28, and a Johan P Pettersson, also from Stockholm and with destination New York. Source code ST 1880:421.
 
As you didn't mention your grandfather's name, I didn't find an obvious match for him.

Eva, Thank you so much. I believe this is my ggrandfather, the age is about right. I already have my grandfather. (I have a copy of his ships log from Ellis Island.) Does the Emigranten tell what ship J.P.Larsson left on?
