Hi,
Could someone help translate a Swedish birth record? I am hoping that this is a record for a baby son named Gres.
It is located at Arkivdigital Vastra Vemmerlov CI:1 (1689-1910) Image 41/page 35. It's the record that is dated June 25, 1734. Eric Larsson and Matta Parsdotter's son.
Does it look like the son's name is Gres? Are there any indicators of where father and mother's parish would be?
Thanks,
Leslie

Hello,
no indicators of where they live within the ''socken''
I think you have the right birth of your Gres
Susceptrix (Godmother) :wife Ellna - Nils Persson's
witnesses :
Jeppa Andersson, Lars Löfgren, Hans Hagström, farmhand (or young man) Pär Nilsson, farmmaids (or young women) Hana, Bengta and Boel
some of these are likely to be familymembers
