looking for details on Oscar Bronhard Eklund (b 1893) and his parents: Olof Eklund (b 18xx) and Emily Olson (b 18xx).

i guess Oscar/Oskar Bernhard Eklund b 1893 would be correst in Swedish. However no such person with parents Olof and Emily are to be found in the registers I can search. Did they emigrate to the US? Do you have any other details to help?

By a chance Did he rerturn to Sweden, stay 5-6 years and marry a german lady?

I'd have to check with my brother-in-law, as he is the geneologist for my wife's family....but Oscar did marry an Austrian/German woman (Anna Krutzky), but I think it was in the U.S. as he emigrated to New York. I will check on him and his parents...I presumed the parents stayed in Sweden (I'll see if I can get parish details etc on them)

Yes, thats the Oscar I am referring to above.
His family emigrated 1905 to US.
I believe this is them in census 1910

Just curious how you knew this?
I know there is a wealth of info available in Swedish records, but I don't read Swedish...just wondering. I know Marriage records and other things may have some of that info as well.

I am looking for information on Anders P. J. Edlund. I believe he was born on March 25, 1855 in Lille Mellösa. I would very much like to know what is known about his family – parents, brothers, sisters, etc.
I believe he moved to Motala where he married Sophia Gustafson and had two children, Hildur Louise (1884-1966) and Agnes Marie (1884-1958). They were twins.
Anders and his family emigrated in 1898, and he died in Manchester, Connecticut, USA on June 10, 1918.
Any information or how to find it would be much appreciated.
