Greetings!
My 2nd great grandmother was Christina Bystrom. She was born in 1851 and came to the US in 1882. I believe she lived in the Stockholm area.
The father is listed as "Perr V. Bystrom" and the mother is listed at "Ella Carlson" (or Carlsson).
Can anyone help me find birth, marriage or death records of the parents or of siblings in Sweden?
I have a picture of her as well as a picture of some cousins, although I do not know the origin of these pictures.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
(Normally I do my own research, but the language barrier does make it difficult to go through the Swedish databases.)
Also, I would like to upload these pictures to a database, but I don't know how to do that.

I have done some searching here: https://disbyt.dis.se/searchindex.php, but it seems like dead end as there are no links.
I am also thinking about using this web site - https://app.arkivdigital.se/ - but will it go back to 1850? I have to pay to use this web site, which I don't mind doing, but I want to make sure it it has the correct data.

Christina Byström was born October 20 1851 in Vedhem, Vinnerstad, Östergötland. Her parents were foreman Per Ulrik Byström and Ulla/Ulrika Eriksdotter.

Per Ulrik Byström dies January 7 1872 in Vinnerstad:

Christina/Kristina has a son Fredrik Magnus, born July 18 1872 in Motala. He lives with his grandmother Ulla while his mother works in Stockholm.

I don't think I would have found this on my own.
Based on your information I was able to find some more records.
I see the mother's name is 'eriksdotter', but she is listed as Ulla/Ella Carlson in some US records.
I would think the father's name could be Erik Carlson/Carlsson/Karlsson, perhaps?
I wish I knew the names of the birthplaces of the mother and father, but I can't read the writing.

Birthplace of Per Ulrik: Godegård, Ulrika: Tjällmo. Both parishes in Östergötland.

Ulla is a short form of Ulrika. (Ella is different name.) Her last name Ericsdotter (=Eric's daughter) follows the Swedish naming customs at this time. Americans often think that woman had their father's or husband's name.
