I have asked a question on here previously (back in 2009) about this person and got a lot of information but a couple people have brought it to my attention that the birth year I have may not be correct. I have been doggedly searching on this to get it straight but still don't have anything concrete.

Nils Eriksson Andrake Lustig - I have a 11/11 1757 Lilla Hycklinge and a 1764 ?/? Fliseryd. The 2 "Nils'" born in Fliseryd 1764 fathers are "Lars" and "Anders" and I know my Nils is a "Erik"-sson.
He was in the military and shows up with the first birthdate (from Dovestad) but all the Husforhors have him as 1764 Fliseryd except the file I have a file that someone sent me once (*see attached file*) I can not find this parish record or which one it comes from?
I have gone over and over Husforhors and Fodelse's and still have not nailed it down. Very tough individual to get exact. The biggest thing is I would like to know where the attached file (Döderhultsskivan.docx) is referenced from!

The "Döderhultsskivan" is a CD record with digitised data from Döderhult parish, from 2001 or so, issued by PLF Oskarshamn (see http://www.plfoskarshamn.se/sv/om-oss/sprak/english/ )
They have a lot of birth, death, and marriage records from Kalmar county and surroundings digitised.
A Nils, son of Eric, was born Nov. 11, 1757 in Lilla Hyklinge (p 324 in Döderhult C/3).

Hi KG Hammarlund, Thank you for your reply and the info. I wasn't totally clear... I have a birth record for a Nils, son of Eric born on Nov 11, 1757, what I am unable to find is the Husforhors that reflects the info from the "Döderhultsskivan". Ken -

Well, it seems as if Döderhults husförhörslängder older than 1760 are missing.
Since he was a "båtsman" of Smålands båtsmanskompani, have you tried finding him in the Soldiers' register? See http://www.ep.liu.se/databases/soldatregister/default.en.aspx
Regretfully you'll won't find his parents there, bt maybe some other interesting information.

Found him in the Navy Archive: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0038075_00001#?c=&m=&s=&cv=&xywh=-840%2C-1%2C5186%2C2480
img 138 No. 118 Nils Eriksson Lustig enlistened 1791 age 34
img 266 notice: "befaren" ("experienced mariner")
img 324 still there after 25 years of service
img 354 taken leave at age 65 after 31 years of service
I also found Nils Lustig and Stina Persdotter in Döderhult AI/1 p. 239 (img. 134). That must be a late entry and it might be possible to find Nils Eriksson crossed out on some other page, e.g. from somewhere in Hycklinge rote.
"Lustig" is most likely a name assigned to the båtsman living at this particular båtsmanstorp, so the other Lustig on p. 239, Jaen Lustig, is hardly a relative but the previous tenant.

"Well, it seems as if Döderhults husförhörslängder older than 1760 are missing."
So this "husförhörs" is from 1760 even with children that are born up to 1806? I was unable to find them in any others.
Thanks for the leads to the pages in the Military register, I captured all of them.
I had the one "Nils Lustig and Stina Persdotter in Döderhult AI/1 p. 239 (img. 134)."
The other reason I am doing this is there is some question on having the correct Stina which I thought the "husförhörs" would help.
Thanks again...

Good evening,
Checking the marriage date in 1784 from the "Döderhultsskiva" we find Nils Ericsson (from?) Andräke/Andrake(?) and Pigan Christina Pärs Dotter from Emmekalf in Döderhult

My guess is that Andrake (old Swedish word for male duck/drake) is one of those assigned seaman names, like Lustig. When looking through the Navy records I found that seaman/torp no. 113, also in Döderhult parish, is linked to the name Andrake. Why both names have been linked to Nils is a mystery, though.
If you have a lot of time and patience, you could browse through the records "Sjöexpeditioner, skeppsmönsterrullor":
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/flottans-arkiv?Referenskod=SE%2FKrA%2F0500-0503%2F0503%2F035&DatumFran=1791&DatumTill=1822&Fritext=
and look for seamen from Smålands båtsmanskompani. I was lucky and just stumbled over Nils Ericsson Lustig onboard the ship "Konung Adolf Fredrik" Jun 1 - Sept 22, 1796:
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0037679_00049#?c=&m=&s=&cv=48&xywh=-266%2C765%2C4626%2C2670
and here's the ship in question: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konung_Adolf_Fredrik_%281775%29
Most likely he was onboard that or another ship during the war with Russia 1807-1809. And lucky to return home alive and unharmed.

Anti Poika - Yes thank you, I have that... which I think that is the correct (my) Nils born 1757 and Stina but there still was another båtsman Nils Lustig born 1764 and a Stina Persdotter around the Döderhult area the same time as my Nils and Stina. See attached files... Ken
-
Yes Ken,
I have seen a couple of these husförhörslängd-pages and I do indeed understand your problem.
-
KG Hammarlund - I knew about the "Lustig" name and "Andrake" (meaning male duck/drake). The other information is awesome! Thank you! I am still trying to sort two "Nils" and two "Stina's" in that area at that time and that's why I need to get information on my Nils and Stina other than from the Döderhultsskivan which has Nils with the 1757 birth and nothing else that I can find has Nils with that date other than his birth record (attached). I found No. 118 Lustig (I do hope he's your Nils Svensson Lustig despite the confusing records) on board the ship Tapperheten ('Bravery') May 5-Oct 25 1808:
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0037713_00031
and here's the ship: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tapperheten_%281785%29
and its task during 1808: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_occupation_of_Gotland_1808
-
No. 118 that is most likely him. Thanks
You mean Nils Erikson Lustig right?
-
Thought I should add to the confusion ; )
No, of course I meant Eriksson, sorry about the typo.
-
Ha! No worries... :) Thanks for the military info you found and shared. MVH, Ken
