No, I am not at all from the Jönköping area.
In an earlier answer from me there is a map link to Bråten. If you zoom in (and then perhaps chose Satellit) you can see it is a very small place. Maybe that is why you can not find it on your map.

A look at the actual passenger lists reveals that the father, Karl, left Gothenburg on board SS Rollo on May 7 1886 and that his children Johan Edvard and Alfrida Charlotta followed him on board SS Orlando August 20 the same year (Göteborgs poliskammare före 1900, Inkomna uppgifter om utvandrade personer, SE/GLA/12703/E IX/28 (1886) pages 484-485, and SE/GLA/12703/E IX/29 (1886) page 462). Alfrida was only 16 years old when she left Sweden and not married.
