Hi, I try to "skim the Cream of": Fältjägaren Jon Tjeder in Åslo wasborn 15 March 1779 to Anders Ersson and his wife Märta Oldsoter in Utgård. They gave him some education and breeding and then he started to work for others. 1801 he became a Soldier and followed his regiment "Hjerpen and Wästerbotten" (?) for Campaigns during 1808 and 1809. 1803 he was married to Anna Jonsdoter in Åslo, a farmer´s daughter, and had 1 son and 4 daughters - one of these died Before the father. Jon Tjeder was a quiet and meek/gentle man, but apprehended/slightly suspected for pilfering. He was for several weeks pained by cough and affection of the lungs. He was 34 years old.
