I'm searching any kind of information about Captain Carl Niclas Rehnstrahl who obviously was born in Stralsund in 1684.
He had four children (at least) with Christina Catharina Ekfelt who was born in 1686 herself. All of their children - of which the first one was born the 9th of september in 1720- were born in Ålspånga, Bettna, Södermanland. Carl Niclas served the army in Södermanlands Regemente I think.
I would appreciate any information about Rehnstrahl's ancestry very much. Do you think his family name was some kind of "soldier name"?
