Question from New Caledonia:
My ancestor is Charles Peterson Stuart, Swedish sailor, born March 2, 1837 in Stockholm. He settles in New Caledonia in 1862, but certainly sailed a few years before in the South Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Fidji ???) I am looking for information about his parents Magnus Stuart and his wife Ingeborg Peterson. I did not find anything on them the only Magnus Stuart found are Gustaf Magnus Stuart (1818-1888) and Gustaf Magnus Stuart (1771-1858) but they have no son named Charles (Carl).
