Hello Sam and Birgitta,
I notice that brothers Axel (AKA Edward) and Ture (AKA Thomas) also used the surname Wiedow in the US. Do you know if they were the first of their family to use the Widoff name in Sweden or if it began in an earlier generation? I had originally assumed it was Jonas' soldier name.
