The father of my great grandmother was Alexander Sjöstrand. He and my great grandmother were never married. We have found him in the 1854 household examination records for the city of Johannesberg in Flisby socken and in the comments states bevarian 1854. In the out records for Flisby socken in Oct 1855 says J.A. Sjöstrand out from Johannesberg to Kalmar län. Is there any way to trace him through his soldier's record or find out anything more about him. The household examintaion records say he is 35 years old but lists no place of birth. MVH
