Ron, According to a CD over Skorped parish and the book Bygdehistoria i Gottne, Hallen, Söle, Östansiö:
Johan Söderholm was born on 20/10 1845 in Östansjö, Mo as son to torparen Olof Johansson and his wife Lisa Jonsdotter
He married on 6/2 1885 in Skorped parish with: Katarina Birgitta Olofsdotter, born on 6/8 1856 i Västerkäl, Sidensjö, doughter to bonden Olof Jonsson and his wife Lisa Stina Jakobsdotter
He had tree sons: Olof born on 14/9 1885 in Byvattnet, Skorped Jonas born on 14/12 1897 in Byvattnet Skorped Johan Axel born on 21/9 1900 in Byvattnet, Skorped
He was knowned as Jösse i Gottne or Jöss-Göttne and was a gårdfarihandlarare. He travel around in the area of Nolaskogs and sold lot of things. He build a house in Gottne, but after some time he sold it and moved to Skorped parish, where he built his second house and lived as torpare for aprox 10 years. He moved to Illinois with his wife and three sons on 18/8 1903, but he returned on 5/5 1906 to Byvattnet with his son Olof, his wife and two other sons stayed in Amerika. He moved 1916 to Gottne where he died on 16/4 1930.
