Thomas MUSCHAMP, b. 1580, probably in Northumberland. He is related in some way to the MUSCHAMPs of Barmoor (near Lowick) but am unable to determine the relationship. I would presume he was an officer in the King's army, as he emigrated to Sweden in the 1600s to serve as an officer in the Swedish army during the Thirty Years War.
He was married to Helena/Helen/Elin/Elinor LINDSAY, b.abt. 1600. Helena LINDSAY was married first to a SWINBOURNE/SWINBURNE, by whom she had a daughter,
Helen/Elin SWINBURNE, b. abt. 1620. She married a Samuel EATON, who was a Freeman of Berwick-upon-Tweed from at least 1617 - 1626
Helen/Elin SWINBURNE and Samuel EATON had these children:
John EATON, b. abt. 1618 Hester EATON Margaret EATON Marie EATON
