I am looking for information on my farmor's morfar, Petersson.  I know he died on 8 December 1870.  He was married to Vendla Charlotta Sjoberg (whose father was Botvid Botvidson).  She was from Å, Östergötland and lived in Norrkoping.  They had three children, Johanna Augusta, My farmor mor, f. 18-12-1857, Vendla Karolina f. 24-6-1864 to ? and Carl Hjalmar, 21-9-1861 to ?.  Looking for his name, date of birth, place of birth, family.  I am also looking for Vendla Karolina's date of death.  Thanks.

Thank you Åke again for filling in my family history.  I thought his name was Carl but I was not positive and I did not know anything about his parents.  This is very helpful.  Also thank you for the information on my grandmother's aunt.  I thought that Karolina never married but your information said she was widowed and her married name was Karlsson.  Do you have information on who her husband was?  I would be interested in his name, date of birth and death, and if they had any children.

Married man.

Once more thank you Åke.  Lina took care of her mother Charlotta, who lived until 1914 and died at the age of 91. My grandmother lived with Lina until she moved to America in 1918.  I think she spent much of her life as a caretaker for her family, so I am not surprised that she married late.  I am more surprised that she married at all.

Lina was a textile factory worker (weaver) for many years and around 1900 she worked as a bakeress.
