I am seeking help translating the notes on the attached record. It is from Bokenäs AI:8 Bild 120 Sida 26. At the top of the page we see the family of Olof Jacobsson 1775 and his wife Anna Olsdotter 1782. I am interested in knowing what the notes for his son Elias 1802 says. Also, are the notes for dotter Olena 1805 clear enough to figure out? The last person listed is Ingaborg Andersdsotter (she is the mother of Anna Olsdotter 1782), I believe that it reads "Käringön" in the notes, am I correct? Thanks.

Elias: not admitted (to confirmation) due to ignorance, indolence and less good reputation.
Olena: moved to Högås parish in Skredsvik motherparish (pastorat).
Ingeborg Andersdotter is noted as servant girl. From(?) Käringön.

Thanks Kristina. I find it amazing that I can find out so much information on my ancestors from the parish records. The notes paint a picture of them that simple names and dates cannot.

Note that Ingeborg Andersdotter here is a girl (maybe not older than 15) and can't be a mother.

Thanks for pointing that out. I had simply assumed it was the mother moving in due to the same name and family ties. However when I checked the dates and the records I discovered that the Ingeborg Andersdotter who was the mother of Anna Olsdotter had already died in the previous record (Bokenäs AI 8 Bild 63 Sida 145). Many thanks for your sharp eye for detail.

I have a few more notes on this family that I would greatly appreciate knowing what they say. The first is from Bokenäs AI 6 Bild 37 Sida 67 (see attachment). The family of Olof Jakobsson, Anna Olsdotter, son Elias and daughter Olena are listed twice side by side. Could you please let me know what the notes alongside them say? Torp Kasan. Elias was born in 1802.

The second record is from Bokenäs AI 7 Bild 26 Sida 29 (see attachment). I would love to know what the notes for Olof Jakobsson say. Many thanks!

First record: it is latin: abs(ens) sine causa = absent without cause, i.e. from the examination.
Second record: came here 21 years ago.

Thanks Stefan! Does that mean he was absent from some religious examination given by the state Lutheran church?
