Efter koll på Rootsweb hittade jag en hel del info, som tillför ganska mycket och svarar på en del av mina undringar.

Lars Theodor, B 4 Jan 1855 in Sweden He was instrumental for our
ancestry coming to America. He made a trip to the United States and then
went back to Sweden exclaiming over the advantages, according to family.
Again coming back to the United States. He had a family of, at least 4
children, one of them named Victor. In 1923 he came back to the home place
in Roberts County to visit and that is the last connection we have with
this branch of the family. Legend has it that he liked alcohol and that
his wife left him for a hired man.
I would like a connection to anyone with the same family in Sweden.
Also, if anyone can connect with Lars (Louis) and his family I would ever
be grateful.
Thanks,
Jan
