LUNDHOLM - Hilda and Victor

Searching for any information on Hilda Lundholm or her brother Victor Lundholm from Gotland.  She immigrated to USA-Chicago IllinoisBorn about 1874.  Died in Chicago March 23, 1930.  Hilda was married to Andrew Johnson.  She may have had sisters by names of Em and Mary.  Mary would have been born February 28, 1885.

Looking for parents names, census results etc for  August Alfred Lundblom born 26 Mar 1844 in Bollnas, Gavleborg. I've tried to find the church records for that year but evidently they do not exist. August married Stina Cajsa Andersdotter of Alster and they came or left for America 14 Jul 1879 from Selanger bound for Chicago Illinois. Their surname then became Bloom.  Any help is very much appreciated, Sharon Sue Marvin, Ellensburg, Washington

Still looking for parents and siblings of August Alfrid Lundblom, born 26 Mar 1844 in Bollnas, Gavleborgs. He is not listed in the church birth record book for that year or close years. All later census and moving gives the same date. He came to America in July 1879.
 
Any ideas on how to find his information?

You know where to find him in 1879, in the Selånger (Västernorrland county) Household Examination Roll page 335.
 
Try tracing him backwards from there.

How can he be traced back as his household rolls give his birthdate but the church book does not list him. BUT I did find an Augustus born 31/07/1844 in Aletorp, Gardhem to a CE Beggren and wife Cecilia Lundblom. Now how do I find out if they are the same person or not?

I meant to trace him backwards through the HFL volumes, step by step. Then perhaps you will get to his real birth.
 
I see him in Selånger HFL AI:13B 1873-1884 page 335 (GID 2072.28.5900), he was on page 311 in the previous book (AI:12B, GID 2072.32.43300), where he had come 1872-11-09 from Lit in Jämtland county.
 
He is in Lit HFL AI:10A 1863-1873 page 184 (GID 2173.4.40100), where he had come from Sunne 1869-12-06.
 
If that is Sunne parish, Jämtland county, there is unfortunately no moving-out record for 1869, but you could try paging though the HFL volume AI:9 1862-1874 (295 pages).
 
And if you are unlucky, it was Sunne parish in Värmland...
