I am searching for my Great-Grandparents.  Carl was born Sept 7, 1829 and Maria was born Sept 20, 1828.  Both were born in Sodra Vi, Kalmar, Sweden.
They imigrated to the United States abount 1861.
I would like to know their parents, grandparents etc, and if they had any brothers and sisters.  I would like also to find out if I have any relatives still living in Sweden.  You may contact me at Dwat992427@aol.com.

At the Family History Center, you can order  
microfilms of the Sodra Vi parish birth records  
for 1828 and 1829 and look-up your  
great-grandparents births.  In the index, you  
would look under
   -Sweden
   ---Kalmar län
   -----Sodra Vi
   -------Född
The birth record will tell the names of the  
parents and name of the farm/village were the  
parents lived when the baby was born.  Once you  
know the name of the farm/village, you can look  
them up in the clerical survey (husförhörslängd),  
a sortof census record kept by the minister, and  
see the other siblings and parents listed with  
their birth dates and other information.
