Nils Lustig

Looking to find out more on the father of Jonas Nilsson who would be a Nils Lustig, I don't have anything other than his name and that he was a Royal Marine soldier. Jonas was born  
 
    * April 15, 1792
    * in Dovstad, Doderhult, Kalmar Lan, Sweden
 
Nils wife was Stina Persdotter.

According to Döderhult A:2 (1807-1822) page 245 Nils Lustig was born in Fliseryd 1764 and his wife Stina in Döderhult 1761.

Nils Lustig died in Djupeträsk, Döderhult June 26, 1837.  
Stina Persdotter died at the same place Nov 17, 1843.

The first time I find Nils Lustig and his familiy is in the household examination roll for Döderhult AI:1 1766-1799 page 239. There is no birthdate or origin mentioned. In later household examination rolls you can find birth year 1764 and birth place Fliseryd. The household examination rolls are often wrong concerning birthdates so we cannot be sure 1764 is correct. Two Nils were born in Fliseryd in the year 1764. I cannot say if any one of them is the correct one. In the soldier register I can only find one possible Nils Lustig from Dövestad in Döderhult but he is said to be born in 1757.  
Jonas mother could be Stina Persdotter born at Djupeträsk, Döderhult on September 6, 1761 with parents Per Nilsson (born around 1732) and Lena Danielsdotter (born around 1741). Lena Danielsdotter died April 12, 1780.

Well I joined Arkiv Digital and got to the page in Fliseryd C:2 bild 122/Sid 237 and I see the two Nils'.
 
1st born Oct 25 to something Nilsson and I also can't make out the mother's name.
 
2nd born Nov 19 to Anders Persson and Anna something, can't make out her last name either (Jonsdotter???).
 
I wonder how I could figure out which one it would be?

Ivar, you said - one possible Nils Lustig from Dövestad in Döderhult but he is said to be born in 1757.  
 
I just discovered that this could be the correct Nils - born in 1757.
 
I am trying to find him in Genlilne. Where did you find him?

I did have Eric Nilsson as one of the possible fathers, but I couldn't make out Döfvestad in the record.

I have been busy with other things and could not answer your questions. But Marianne has provided you with a lot of information. I found Nils Lustig in the soldier register,

I interpret the information there that he became a seaman for the district Dövestad in Döderhult (Navy personal provided by the Allotment System) in 1791 which is late since he was then 34 years old. But according to his marriage 1784 he then had the name Nils Anddrake Ericsson and was already a seamean. So he must have changed his soldier name at some time and become a seaman already before 1784.
