Skeftruna is a village in Kung Karl parish in Vastmanland. There are no husforhorslangd records available prior to 1816. Was Skeftruna part of another parish before this time?? Was Kung karl part of another parish at this time??

According to the book Sveriges församlingar genom tiderna (Parishes of Sweden through the ages) there are no husförhörslängder prior to 1816, but the birth records starts in 1689.

Yes, that is what I have found. Also there are no birth records between 1736 & 1764, which is the time period I need to get to the next generation. I read that prior to 1700 Kung Karl was part of Torpa, so I thought maybe over the years Kung Karl may have been annexed to another parish. I have found that in some other areas.
