I am trying to locate a birth record in Östersund parish, but Genline doesn't have this parish listed. Can anyone look up this birth for me?

Hilda/Hildur's death certificate says she was born in 1885, however the 1890 Swedish census states her birth as 1886.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hej!  I need help in reading and translating genline 1722.22.10700.  My great grandfather, Anders Bjorklund (born 9/13/1846), I believe, changed his name from Rollberg to Bjorklund.  Can someone help me with the comments on the parish records?  Also, the comments for his wife, Magreta Nilsdotter (b. 11/10/1842)?  Tack!

He moved in from Åsum in 1864. See book of banns 1870. Had a criminal record from 1868 (theft) and lost his public confidence for 9 years. Moved to pg 311 (same parish= Vä) in 1871.
His wife moved in to Vä from Kristianstad in 1868; ref.to book of banns 1870; kyrkotagen    (introduction of mother into congregation after childbirth) being fiancée of Anders Björklund. Moved to pg 311 in 1871.

Found guilty of theft - condemned by G.H.R  (Gärds Häradsrätt = the court of Gärds Härad (härad= Civil district within a court, it's jurisdiction )
lost public confidence for 5 years - sorry my English is not good enough to explain, but I found something at http://www.algonet.se/~hogman/sldict.htm. Medborgerligt förtroende: [one's] civil (civic) rights  I don´t think he went to prison. Court books - don't think they are scanned for that court.´They are in the province archive in Lund, Sweden.

From what I've read, loss of public confidence would last from one up to ten years (possibly different in different eras).  
 
During that time, the person couldn't be employed as a teacher or other civil servant, he couldn't vote, he couldn't be a vitness in court, and there were limitations on how large a business he could run.  
 
Also, anyone who moved to another parish had to get a certificate for change of address, which he had to show to his new employer, and then hand it in to the parson in the new parish. This included his vital data and some type of statement about his character (and an ongoing loss of public confidence had to be stated there). So his potential employer would know he'd lost his public confidence, and probably think twice before hiring him. That seems to have made the punishment rather more harsh than perhaps was originally intended.
 
When the period of loss of public confidence was over, the limitations didn't apply anymore, and the statement wouldn't appear in the certificate any longer.

Tack so mycket, Siv and Torgny!  Bo, thank you so much for your wonderful, hard work.  All of you make me proud to be Swedish!  I do have some more questions, though, after reading all this.  In GID 1722.14.56500,  Per Rållberg is the father of Anders, then on GID 1722.18.53400 and 1722.22.10700, his name is Per Kjellberg; then again, on GID 1722.23.48500, his name is Per Rållberg?  Was it common to change names?  Is that a common practice now?  How can I find the dates of death for Per Rållberg/Kjellberg and Anders Björklund if Vä parish records are only available up to 1920?  It seems the more I/we research, the more questions I have.  Thanks again for everything!

Thank all of you for your great help.  I have just about everything I need to know about my family from Sweden.  However, I have been told that Anders and Margreta both returned to Sweden.  Since Genline parish records are available only through 1920, are there any other records I can research to confirm this?  I have a photograph of Anders with my father who was born in 1914, so Anders had to return to Sweden sometime after that.  I would like very much to obtain their dates of death.  I would imagine they would have returned to their home in Vä.  While in America, Anders used the name Andrew Bjorklund, and Margreta used Margret Nelson.  I assume they would change them back to Anders Björklund and Margreta Nilsdotter?  Any ideas?

The reason why I suggest parish of Vä is a venture, you know. Only if they came back to that parish,they may be registered in the cemetery index, which is, however, not online. A rather new CD has been produced in 2008, called Begravda i Sverige  ( Buried in Sweden) but that one is far from complete. I checked it, negative. As I also said death records for Vä are available until 1938 at www.svar.ra.se (subscription). But browsing it is also kind of a venture, as we still not know they resided there after returning from USA.

Betyg för innbrottsstöld=Grades for burglary ?!
casserad och avför rullor=discarded and remove list
To me it sounds as if he was discarded from the military because of burglary.
